Away from the beach, up in the hills, there is another cemetery at the site of the battle of Lone Pine/Kanli Sirt.  There's an involved story I didn't quite understand, about a soldier/survivor taking a pine cone home, planting a seed, and his parents (children?) years later returning a pine seedling to this place.
